Created for my Communication Design class, this project asked us to research two typefaces from an assigned decade and design type specimen postcards. I was assigned the 1960s and chose the typefaces Eurostile and Blippo. Drawing from my research, I designed Eurostile’s card to emphasize its Space Age, tech-inspired origins, while Blippo’s card reflects its ties to 1960s–70s music culture by taking the form of a record. Each postcard highlights the visual character and historical context of its typeface.
