Letterforms

Created for my Communication Design class, this project expanded on a previous black-and-white letterform composition. Using my 16-letter grid as a starting point, I replaced and rearranged the letters, introduced a second contrasting typeface, and experimented with cropping, rotation, and positive/negative space to create more dynamic interactions across the grid. I then developed a series of color variations using warm, cool, complementary, analogous, and monochromatic palettes. This project focused on exploring gestalt, rhythm, and movement through tightly cropped letterforms.
